All around the internets I have been reading about people bitching about the install time for DMC4 on the PS3. Really, it's not that long people. If you didn't have to install some of the game onto the PS3's hard drive, there would be longer loading times due to the slowness of the Blu-ray drive. I do wish that this would have been optional, just to save space for people with 20 or 40 gig PS3 models, and I wonder how the loading times would be without the install.

I know that the install only gives the PS3 a slight edge over the 360 with loading times, but that is due to the higher speed of DVD vs. Blu. If I thought the 360 controller would feel right playing DMC4 I would have gone that way, but when playing the demo on 360 it just didn't feel right. For me, the Dual Shock 3 just feels better for action games like this.

As for the game, it's a lot of fun. We're going to review it this week on EARF so make sure you listen to the new episode when it comes out Sunday night!
